Hiking, Parade, & Cheer Camp

Last week Megan and I took the kids for a hike up American Fork Canyon. We were going to hike to timp caves but they were very crowded so we ended up going to cascade springs. It was more of a walk than a hike but we had a good time. Andy was at Scout Camp, Maddi was at Cheer, and Josh didn't feel like carrying Eli around so he stayed home. The older they get the less they want to spend the day with their Mom. It seems like friends are just more fun now!

Saturday was the Lehi Round-up Parade. Maddi has marched in the Parade for the past few years. It's really a fun little parade. This year it wasn't too hot, until the end.

Last night we went to watch Maddi perform at Cheer Camp. It was really HOT outside and these girls had been out all day. They looked like they were having a blast.

Looks like you guys have been busy...having fun! I'm sure that it can get very warm there. We just don't seem to see past the 90's very often. Of course, winter is brutal, so we hate that side of it. Maddi is sure a cutie!

I love summer for the parades. I have fond memories of going to the parades from Lehi to Orem. Summer rocks but I know what you are saying about the kids wanting to be with friends instead :( Sad..... so fun for Maddie in Cheer.
