Wednesday Vaughn took his car into the shop because his battery needed to be replaced. He drives a VW Passat and you can not get to anything in a VW to fix yourself! If your every thinking of buying one DO NOT! Both Maddi & I had things Wednesday that we needed our cars for so he didn't have a way to work. He took my car went and picked up his computer and came home to work the rest of the day. So almost $500 later his car is "done". He picks it up and realizes that there is still something wrong with it. He takes it back into the shop Thursday morning and tells me it will probably be another $200 to fix. I was really upset to say the least! His car is taking all the money I had put aside for a fireplace for the basement and it's time to start buying Christmas. Vaughn had to go to work yesterday but I needed my car during the day so Maddi let him take her car (she didn't drive it to school cause it was completely out of gas). I was so upset driving back from the mechanic shop until I opened the garage door and realized that Vaughn would be driving to Salt Lake, parking at his office and then driving home in rush hour in Maddi's car.


Every time I would think about him in her car I would just start to laugh! He is home again today because the car is still having problems. I just have to look at this picture and think of him driving the car and I can smile.
