St. Patrick's Day

Every year the leprechaun comes to our house and makes our milk green. When the kids were little I used to wake up and make the swedish pancakes, green of course. As they have gotten older and have to leave for school so early we don't make them any more unless St. Patrick's Day falls on a weekend. Yesterday Maddi got up early (5:20am) so she could make us swedish pancakes. So nice of her!
Andy had a 6th grade school dance yesterday. He wanted to dress up like a leprechaun so he called his Grandma Carma and asked her to make him a leprechaun outfit. She really is amazing. He looked so cute all dressed up. He had a great time at school, yes he wore it all day!
Last night we all went over to my parents for dinner. Megan made Corn beef and cabbage for dinner. It was sooooo good! I made lime jello cheesecake for desert and we drank green milk (the leprechaun goes to their house too). All in all it was a fun day.

That is such a stinkin cute costume. It looks like a lot of work. What a nice Grandma. How do you make the milk green? Food coloring? I need to be a little more creative. Sometimes I think I am just a "stick in the mud" of a mom.

You guys are so cute!! How fun for all the kids. I remember Aunt Leslie's swedish pancakes and you must remind me how she makes them. I was quite a moose and remember devouring tons of them when I would get to visit you guys ;)
