Last week was a really tuff week for Maddi. She started the week with her road test for Drivers Ed....6am for 3 days. She passed so now she gets her drivers licence on her birthday next week. 
Tuesday she started High School Cheer Tryouts...6-8pm for 3 days. She nailed everything she did! Way to go Maddi!!!! She also got asked to Prom during the week. Friday Vaughn, Maddi, and I left for California for Maddi's National Cheer Competition. We had a great time!!! We went to Knott's Berry Farm on Friday then to a Pirates Dinner Show with her team. Saturday we woke up and went to LA for the competition. Spent most the day watching cheerleaders. 
They work all year so hard then only perform for 2 1/2 minutes. But that 2 1/2 minutes is jammed packed. Her squad did amazing but didn't place:( We then went to Disneyland for the remainder of Saturday and part of Sunday, then flew home.

Gosh, you guys are busy!! Sounds like things are going well. I'm happy for Maddi. You guys are the pros at going to California. Sweet!
Congrats on making Cheerleader Maddi! You'll be awesome.
